Content Management
Polar Frog Digital provides a wide range of content preparation services.
Ingestion and Encoding
- We offer content ingestion, metadata collection, transcoding to multiple formats,
encryption, and storage.
- We accept the following formats: DVD, Hard Drive, and BetaTape (advance
reservations required).
Encryption
- We store all completed content in an AES 256 bit encryption.
Meta Data
- We catalog data elements helpful to kiosk application that are not captured by the
traditional industry resources today. At ingest we will record themes, locations, capture
JPG images summaries; DVD art and DVD cover arts in 4 sizes.
Quality Control
- Every title ingested will go through a multi step process to ensure the quality and
integrity of the original bit rate and aspect ratio, sound and picture quality are the same
as the original provided.
Distribute
- Polar Frog utilizes a local CDN to update local storage. We prepare and upload new
titles on a regular basis. Files are uploaded with a constant drip via a high speed
connection to the location from the CDN. When the newest file is completely uploaded,
our software will replace the least used or accessed file in place for the new data and
activate the newest selection.
