Since the iPhone is completely sealed, and Apple doesn’t want you to open the phone up, there is no way you can replace the iPhone battery without some tools. There are however some other ways to get your battery replaced. The first method is to go the the Apple store (or reseller) where you bought your phone. They will test the power of the battery with a special device. If they think that the battery is indeed too old or refurbished, they have 2 options for you.

They will send your iPhone to their factory where Apple’s engineers will replace the battery carefully. You will lose your phone for about 2 weeks, as their factory’s are located in China. You will most likely get a replacement iPhone in the time that your own one is in the factory, so you can still make calls etc.

If you really don’t want to send your iPhone to China there is also the option to replace your battery on your own.
